Brian is the Chief Innovation Officer at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport overseeing the Innovation, IT, and Customer Experience divisions. His career spans three decades beginning with a Bachelor’s in Aeronautical Science from the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University to his executive roles at an airline and airport. He’s a visionary for versatility, resiliency, and adaptability, who’s helping shape the future of the industry and beyond.
Under Brian’s stewardship, the CVG Innovation program has transformed the airport’s sprawling 7700-acre campus into a lab of advanced research. CVG is constantly exploring ways to improve operations through testing, refining, and monetizing product development. The strategic outcomes are to create efficiencies, upskilling, and new revenue streams for the airport, new economic value for the region, and resiliency for both, as well as contributing long term value across the aviation industry and beyond. This approach has led CVG to be the first airport in the world or U.S. to trial and deploy a range of cutting-edge technologies.
