Winner of ACI ASIA-PACIFIC Young Executive Award for the Year 2016 and Certified “International Airport Professional” – IAP+ by Global ACI-ICAO Airport Management Professional Accreditation Programme (AMPAP) as having achieved highly rigorous standards for expertise in the field of airport management.
Sunil has than 16+ Years and 360-degree exposure in airport operations and a fair knowledge of airline functioning. He started his career as Ground Engineer with Indian Airforce and after completing his MBA (Aviation Management) he joined as Management Intern with Mumbai International Airport Limited and had the opportunity to serve at two major airports of the country in India till date.
He has been currently working for GMR Hyderabad International Airport for the last ten years in various capacities. He had the hands-on experience in the field of Project Management, Airside Safety, Business Development, Strategic Planning, Master Planning, Business Excellence, Legal and Regulatory compliance, Stakeholder Management, and Service Quality
He has been successful in bringing the various innovation and technological interventions for maximizing throughput, improving service quality & operational efficiency, minimizing wastage, and enhancing predictability within an overall cost conscious & sustainable environment.
Prior to joining Hyderabad Airport, he worked with Mumbai International Airport with Quality and Compliance.
Mr. Sunil holds a bachelor’s degree in Statistics from Nagarjuna University and master’s in aviation management from Karnataka University. In his spare time Sunil enjoys a good happy hour with friends, sounds of great music play lists. He also relishes spending time with his daughter (Binnu) , Son ( Vivan) and playing Kabaddi
