Brian Dranzik is the Airport Director for Milwaukee County where he oversees and directs operations of Milwaukee County’s two airports, Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MMIA) and Timmerman Field. Mr. Dranzik’s vision for the airport is to provide a comfortable, convenient, high quality passenger experience.
Under his leadership, the airport has improved customer impressions and reinvigorated a sense of local pride regarding the airport. This has been proven by being recognized as one of the best airports in its class nationwide based on various passenger surveys. Mr. Dranzik has worked to update the airport brand, improved customer amenities, and increased its customer satisfaction scores. This effort includes a complete renovation of the retail and food and beverage concessions blending locally inspired offerings with nationally recognized brands.
In addition, Mr. Dranzik has recently completed a master plan update charting the course for future terminal, landside, and airside improvements. He has met with airline executives advocating for increased air service that has paved the way for both expanding existing carrier service and adding new carriers to new destinations.
Mr. Dranzik has a solid understanding of many of the issues facing airports in America, including the importance of customer service, and strong collaboration with airlines, tenants, service providers, general aviation, and the air travel community at large.
