The Real Transformation of the Passenger Experience in the 21st Century

9 April, Madrid, Spain, 07:30 to 09:00 CET - brought to you by International Airport Review and co-hosted by SITA

The Real Transformation of the Passenger Experience in the 21st Century

Join us for this year’s International Airport Review breakfast briefing to discover how airports, airlines and ground handlers are tearing up the playbook in this dynamic and complex industry.

The airport/aviation infrastructure has remained much the same post-COVID, only now passengers are returning and the demand on airports and airlines to do more with less has never been more apparent.

It’s obvious, what airports were doing in the past cannot be the playbook for the future…

The breakfast briefing speakers will examine key drivers in the baggage domain:

  • Rewriting the passenger experience at scale. Find out how a major international airport has embraced self-service technology, AI and APIs to improve efficiency and set new standards.
  • A lost bag costs a carrier around $50/day. How airlines are embracing mobile technology to speed up the repatriation of their lost bags.
  • Lost bags – a cost or an opportunity? Listen to how one leading airline has changed its whole approach, from an expensive customer pain point to a unique customer offering.
  • Off-airport passenger processing

How leading airports are moving passenger processes off-site to reduce congestion and enhance the travel experience.

  • Baggage decoupling

Exploring the shift towards a hassle-free, baggage-free travel experience.

  • Revolutionising airport roles

The impact of common-use APIs on transforming agent and self-service operations.

  • Boosting efficiency & convenience

The latest innovations streamlining airport processes and minimising wait times.

  • Optimising limited resources
