Nicola Gualandi graduated in Civil Engineering and then earned a PhD in Transportation Engineering with a specific focus on air transport industry and airport engineering. His professional journey started as an airport infrastructural project manager. Following a Master in Business and Administration, Gualandi transitioned to the commercial department where he plays a key role in developing and managing the Retail, F&B and Duty Free and advertising businesses. Nicola is also active in air transport industry organizations such as ACI Europe, ETRC (European Travel Retail Confederation) and ATRI (Italian Travel Retail Association), he is also a lecturer at Bologna University and speaker in conferences.
