I’m excited to welcome you back to another highly anticipated International Airport Review Breakfast Briefing.

Airports face mounting pressure to deliver seamless passenger experiences while managing disruption, resource constraints and sustainability targets.

But early adoption of agentic AI will revolutionise airport operations by creating autonomous systems that will independently set goals and take action to complete complex tasks aligned to airport objectives.

It’s a fascinating topic that has real world implication right now, as well as defining the future of airport operations.

I invite you to join us at this breakfast briefing in partnership with SITA

    Bring Agentic AI To Life

The Why of Agentic AI in airports:

      • Moving beyond traditional AI: How agentic AI differs from current AI applications in airports (e.g., predictive analytics, chatbots).
      • The imperative for a Unified Data Platform (UDP) or Operational Data Environment (ODE): Why this is the non-negotiable foundation for successful agentic AI deployment.
      • Addressing data fragmentation and establishing robust data governance as a prerequisite.

    Practical Deployment and Architecture:

      • Minimum viable architecture for agentic AI in airport operations.
      • The role of observability and human-in-the-loop controls in maintaining safety and efficiency.
      • Developing robust risk and safety cases for agentic AI systems.

    High-Value Use Cases and Impact:

      • Specific examples of how agentic AI can revolutionise disruption recovery, turnaround coordination, baggage exceptions, and passenger flow.
      • Quantifying the impact on operational efficiency, terminal flow optimisation, and landside management.
      • Exploring the four pillars of agentic value: operational efficiency, passenger experience, resilience, and sustainability.

    The Human-AI Teaming (HAT) Aspect:

      • Ethical frameworks for accountability and governance guardrails in an agentic AI environment.
      • Talent development strategies to prepare the workforce for “Neural OPS” and total airport autonomy.
      • The shift from human oversight to human collaboration with AI agents.

    Getting Started and Future Vision:

      • Designing and executing a successful 90-day pilot plan.
      • KPI selection for measuring the success of agentic AI initiatives.
      • Assessing vendor claims and building a structured adoption roadmap.
